Question:
Does your system interface with other HR/Payroll systems?
Answer:
Yes. HRToolbox can interface with your current HR and/or payroll systems in order to keep both systems populated with up-to-date information about your expatriate or global populations. This will eliminate the need to enter duplicate information into many different systems. HRToolbox has defined file layouts for all data transferred into HRToolbox.

Question:
How much involvement is required by our company IT staff to support and implement HRToolbox?
Answer:
Your IT staff is only needed to guarantee a web connection. If web access is available to you and your company does not require interfacing with other company systems, then there will not be any additional involvement required by your IT staff. The HRToolbox Team takes care of system back-ups and support of the database.

How is our data secured and protected?
Answer:
The HRToolbox service uses the latest technologies to secure the communications between a web browser and our web servers. Citibank, American Express, Merrill Lynch, and Wells Fargo use the same technologies to secure the millions of financial transactions they handle every day over the public Internet. The technologies used involve a combination of Secure Socket Layers (SSL) and certificates. SSL is used to encrypt any information transferred from a web browser to a web server and vice-versa. Question:
Can any population size be tracked using HRToolbox?
Answer:
Yes. We have clients today with single administrators managing less than 20 assignees. Additionally, we have clients with more than ten administrators managing 400 assignees.

Question:
What locations around the world are using HRToolbox?
Answer:
There are currently administrators in 73 locations and 37 countries using HRToolbox. Some of the countries using HRToolbox include the United States, Canada, Argentina, Germany, China, Portugal, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

How long is the implementation process?
Answer:
The implementation process typically lasts 4-6 weeks. This includes the Pre-Implementation Planning, Implementation Workshop, and the Post-Implementation Process. More details...

Question:
Do you provide the cost of living tables as part of your monthly subscription fee?
Answer:
In order to track this data in HRToolbox, your company must subscribe to a data provider such as Organization Resource Counselors (ORC), Runzheimer, AirInc, or any other provider you wish, in order to receive these tables. Once your subscription has been set up with a data provider, HRToolbox can then feed your tables directly into your database.

Can we modify or change the screens in HRToolbox?
Answer:
HRToolbox always welcomes enhancement requests from our clients. We can typically accommodate a client's request for customization through additional screens or fields to meet a client's specific needs. We do our best to accommodate each request and work them into our development schedule. Since our solution is an Application Service Provider and is used by all of our clients, we offer additional screens to each of our clients in many areas of our database. Our solution has been designed in such a way that customizations are less intrusive.

What are the hardware requirements needed to use HRToolbox?
Answer:
A computer with an Internet connection is all that is required in order to utilize HRToolbox. We recommend that you use Internet Explorer Version 5.0 or higher.
