We’re back with another issue of the Toolbox Times! With this issue we'll bring you up-to-date on current events and share a few tips & tricks to help you make the most of our products and services.

What's New Since The Last Newsletter?
    Updated Client Support Procedures

In order to serve our clients even more quickly and efficiently, we have introduced new Client Support Procedures. This process will ensure that you receive a rapid response to your questions or issues and features convenient contact options for assistance from any member of our Client Services Team.

You can reach HRToolbox Client Support in one of two ways:

1. Email support@hrtoolbox.com and someone will respond to you within four business hours.

OR

2. Call our Client Support number at (678) 638-6122 or 877-HRToolbox (877-478-6652).

By implementing this new process, we can ensure that someone is available to promptly respond to your questions or concerns during our regular business hours of 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM EST.

Upgrade to Internal Architecture

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide our clients with the most reliable, secure, and flexible solution, we have updated our technology to the most robust platforms currently available. The updates focus particularly on improving the performance and stability of the application.

New Features and Enhancements

In our May Release, there were multiple enhancements to the Compensation section and other areas of HRToolbox. Some of the key enhancements are detailed below.

Compensation enhancements:
  • Capability to reuse worksheet values
  • Calculate running totals
  • Improved print-friendly worksheet
Additional enhancements:
  • Capability to copy report templates
  • Expanded search capability on the employee reminders screen
  • Relocation of the Additional fields for Employee Profile information to a more effective placement

Did You Know?

  • Did you know that if you are automatically logged out of HRToolbox due to inactivity, upon re-login, you will be sent to the last screen on which you were working? HRToolbox installed this automatic logout functionality as part of our security procedures.

  • Did you know that a new field has been added to the Employee – Schedule screen to better help you track approval for scheduled events? The new field is Schedule Status and is a standard look up list with choices of Requested, Approved, and Denied.

  • Did you know that HRToolbox can help your company track an employee’s total compensation? You will need to process payroll in HRToolbox in order to report on an employee’s total compensation. Processing payroll in HRToolbox means that you are pulling all compensation worksheet elements and any additional one-off payments each time you process a payroll period. You can then report on each of these compensation elements.

  • Did you know that you can produce custom reports in HRToolbox? You can define the population you wish to report on as well as the fields to include in your report. For your convenience, HRToolbox has also created a list of Standard Reports for your use.

  • Did you know that if you save a report as a Favorite, it only takes two clicks to run your report? Once you login to HRToolbox, you will click on Reports in the top menu and then click on the appropriate icon next to your report name on the Favorites screen.

  • Did you know that there are five different report types in HRToolbox? These different report types allow you to select different fields, from various screens in HRToolbox, to include in your report. The report types and the fields you can use in each are listed below:

    1. Employee Profile: Select fields from the Employee and Assignment screens, including your additional fields.

    2. Payment Summary: Select fields from the Payment screen and the Employee Profile screen, as well as a number of fields from the Vendor and Resource screens.

    3. Communication: Select fields from the Communication screen as well as a number of fields from the Employee Profile screen.

    4. Compensation Package Summary: Select fields (such as the package title and worksheet notes) from the Compensation Worksheet as well as a number of fields from the Assignment General screen.

    5. Relocation: If you are subscribing to the Relocation module in HRToolbox, this report type allows you to select fields from the Relocation screens, as well as a handful of fields from the Employee Profile screen.
